Maybe in the entry number 17 he is the one whos talking to him with Sans. But when you talk to him in hotland watching the core he seems sad or nostalgic or maybe even remembers something (I could be wrong) but I think this is related to Gaster. Papyrus doesnt bleed because you cut his head off, and you slashed Sans across the chest. Talking about Gaster, Idk if someone has seen this before, but when you talk to Papyrus (without Undyne) in the phone at waterfall he is happy that you are achiving your goal, also at the end of the battle with him he vives you directions to get out of the underground (he is happy for you, although he will miss you). Papyrus blushing is probably some magical thing going on Sans bleeding is just the Magic hes made of taking on a liquid form(In other words bones can bleed). papyrus is the most complex and secretive character here.we know nothing about him he hides everything, even his body language even his real feelings image. In the case that he has Gaster Blasters that is a strong conexion to Gaster. In his battle, his goal isnt to kill you, he wants to capture you so his attacks arent at his full potencial, also we never get to see his special attack but in a dialogue in the game when you interact with the box of bones he says that you would have been "blastered" (we can assume that he also manages Gaster Blasters) Papyrus is also very strong, not only because Undyne says so. But listen (or read) Papyrus is also very aware, he has a lot of dialogue which proves that he knows about time & space (for example, when you enter to Sans room he talks about hating when Sans pranks him across time & space) (and in the pacifist route he says he thinks thats the worst possible ending) also, he knows about Sans power to teletransportation. So if this really is true, papyrus may not be the character everyone thinks him to be. My personal theory is that, by these conditions, papyrus actually has similar abilities to sans, but keeps them a secret as best as he can. Without more evidence, the most logical conclusion is that this is done purely for speaking style emphasis.I think we all know by now that Sans is very aware of resets and all of the timelines. Obviously shows that papyrus KNOWS at least some stuff about time and space. This invalidates the theory that “undead” monsters have a case preference. Mettaton uses proper case after he changes into his Mettaton EX form.īut he does switch right back to all caps in the neutral route’s King Mettaton Ending.Īs for Sans, he is known to use proper case in more serious discussions or when he is threatening.Īs you mentioned, Mad Dummy is another ghost, but they don’t have a strong preference for all upper case. Napstablook uses all caps for the word “RUINS,” as it’s usually referred as. Papyrus and Napstablook are the two that almost never change their case. Sans has a more casual manner of speaking that conveys an apathetic attitude, while Napstablook is more soft spoken and lacks confidence. undertale papyrus the collector the owl house toh the collector toh. Tone can be hard to convey through text, even with the voice beeps. Both Papyrus and Mettaton have very loud personalities. Lets be real, with these characters, that person probably had this SHIT comin to them. They’re made of bones, but aren’t classified as bone attacks in the game. So what all these dialogues mean Remember that Papyrus is an innocent (but major) character. We’re talking about a video game here, real life facts don’t apply. It’s possible this is to emphasize their speaking style. Most of the skeleton brothers' attacks wouldn't render you blasted, leaving it possible he was referring to Gaster Blasters.
